Shipping & Returns

We aim to make ordering from Automods simple and reliable. This page explains how we handle shipping, delivery, returns, refunds, and damaged or faulty items for products ordered through our online shop.

1 Order processing

Orders are usually processed within 1–2 working days after payment has been received.

Orders placed on weekends or bank holidays will be processed on the next working day. During busy periods, product launches, or promotional events, processing times may be slightly longer.

If there is any delay with your order, we will contact you using the details provided at checkout.

2 Shipping methods

We offer delivery options at checkout depending on your location and the products ordered.

  • Standard delivery — estimated within 2–4 working days after dispatch
  • Express delivery — estimated within 1–2 working days after dispatch where available
  • Local collection — available on selected items where stated

Shipping options, prices, and delivery estimates will be shown before you complete your purchase.

3 Delivery times

Delivery timeframes are estimates and begin once your order has been dispatched, not when it is placed.

While we do our best to meet all estimated delivery times, delays can occasionally occur due to courier issues, weather, high demand, or circumstances outside our control.

We are not responsible for delays caused by incomplete or incorrect delivery information entered at checkout.

4 Shipping areas

We currently ship throughout the UK. If international shipping is available for selected products, this will be shown at checkout.

If you are outside our standard delivery area and would like to place an order, please contact us before purchasing so we can confirm availability and shipping costs.

5 Tracking your order

Where tracking is available, you will receive tracking details once your order has been dispatched.

Please allow a little time for tracking updates to appear after receiving your dispatch confirmation email.

If you have not received tracking details, or believe your parcel may be delayed, please contact us with your order number.

6 Damaged, faulty, or missing items

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.

If your item arrives damaged, faulty, or incomplete, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and include your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos where possible.

We will review the issue and arrange an appropriate resolution, which may include a replacement, repair, refund, or partial refund depending on the circumstances.

7 Returns

You may return eligible items within 14 days of receiving your order, provided they are unused, in their original packaging, and in a resaleable condition.

To request a return, please contact us first with your order number and reason for return. Returns sent back without prior contact may take longer to process.

Unless the item is faulty or sent incorrectly, return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer.

8 Non-returnable items

Some products are not eligible for return unless they are faulty. These may include:

  • Items that have been installed, opened, or used
  • Special order or custom-made products
  • Items cut, programmed, or modified to order
  • Digital goods, software, or downloadable products

If you are unsure whether your item is returnable, please contact us before sending it back.

9 Refunds

Once your return has been received and inspected, we will let you know whether your refund has been approved.

Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the returned item.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to a fault, damage in transit, or our error.

10 Exchanges

We do not always offer direct exchanges. In most cases, if you need a different item, the quickest option is to return the original eligible product and place a new order.

If your item is faulty or you have received the wrong item, please contact us and we will advise on the next steps.
